STRAND 2: PUBLICITY

Ralf Bader is the PI of the Fribourg strand of the research project. He is professor of philosophy at the Université de Fribourg in Switzerland, where he holds the chair for ethics and political philosophy. His research focuses on Kant, ethics, metaphysics and political philosophy. In the context of this research project, he will be focussing on how to understand and justify publicity in Kant's political philosophy, what kind of wrong it is to violate the requirement of publicity and how this requirement applies in the international realm.

Michael Kryluk (PhD: Stony Brook University, 2022) is a postdoc in philosophy at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oslo (2022-2025). He has published widely on Kant and the German philosophical tradition, most recently in Kantian Review.
